Randy has been a key part of SongRise since the very beginning. Typically behind the sound board, we’ve asked Randy to step in front of our delegates to share his sound and stage wisdom. Randy owned H&S Entertainment music store on main street Peace River for many years in the 80’s & 90’s, as well as one in Fairview. Eventually Randy would go on to become a self employment training coordinator at Community Futures Peace Country and worked his way up to General Manager, a position he held for 18 years. Throughout it all, he maintained his involvement in the music industry with his sound company also called H&S Entertainment along with Marty O’Byrne.

If you’ve ever been to a karaoke show in Peace River or Grimshaw for the last 30+ years, you have definitely seen Randy there as the host of the show!

It is also thanks to Randy that SongRise is now under Community Futures Peace Country after a morning coffee conversation with Sherry Crawford, the original co-founder of SongRise. Thanks Randy!
